Heres just a small look into some of the adventures I’ve been on over the last few years.
Mt. Moosilauke, nh, appalachian trail
In 2016 I set off on a 2,189.1 mile journey that would change the course of my life forever. I hiked for 198 days before I reached Mt. Katahdin in Maine; the Southern Terminus of the Appalachian Trail. Since then, I’ve hiked another 4,500 miles on the long trails of America.
Wind river range, wy, continental divide trail
After completing the AT, I set my sights on the Continental Divide Trail. I opted for a South Bound hike, and set off on July 7th, 2017. I hiked through the smoky, hazy hills and mountains of Montana, into the dry, high desert of Idaho and Northern Wyoming. From there I embarked into the unreal mountains of Wyoming and Colorado, eventually getting off trail after roughly 2,000 miles due to weather.
Little rock pond, Vermont, the long trail
After getting off of the CDT, I headed to the Long Trail in Vermont and completed and End to End hike of the trail; running from Quebec to Massachusetts. After spending 20 days in the Vermont wilderness during peak foliage, I was hooked and couldn’t wait to get back on the east coast. Not yet though…
LA AQUEDUCT, california, pacific crest trail
With hiking season upon us this past April, I decided to head out to attempt a thru hike of the PCT with my good buddy, Beehive. We had already hiked around 1,000 miles together on the AT, and being good friends for the past 10 years or so, I couldn't think of a person I’d want to share this experience with.
